Albeli, the brand is reminiscent of the varieties, rich traditions, and the transitions that it went through these years, resulting in the vivid colours, finest fabrics, and touch of Indian cultures.

The house of Albeli is built on the foundation of love and admiration for Indian textiles, by Mr. Sharad Nawalgaria and Mr. Samir Nawalgaria. We started off as handloom Thaan manufacturers in 1990 and explored the time-honoured weaving traditions of Banaras by making the combination of traditional aesthetics with popular modern-day designs of the silk sarees, in order to find a place in women’s hearts. In 1999 our signature aesthetic was born out of designing sarees into unstitched suits and thus became the first in India to do the same, at this scale.

Alongside, we worked on exporting Indian textiles to the entire world.
